Assertiveness:
Assertiveness is made up of three components:
1. The articulation of values and thoughts.
2. The articulation of feelings.
3. The ability to stand for your own liberty.
Assertiveness does not include being aggressive or offensive.  It is being forward with meeting your needs with the thought of others needs in mind.
